Mei is a young backpacker from Malesia who randomly passed by the workshop on her last day in Jordan. She was curious about our activity so we offered her to produce a mosaic piece to take away in the afternoon.
12.30pm
Michel Ajelat, design her name in Arabic calligraphy.
1.00pm.
Back to the workshop, Mei draw the artwork on the fabric's canvas.
1.15pm
First stone applied, well done Mei!
Ali is guiding Mei's first steps.

Ali is helping a bit to make sure Mei finishes the piece in the evening
10pm
After a well deserved drink and narguile break at Map Café, the mosaic is sealed in the cement and needs to be washed to remove the dusts.
Mei can be proud, as a beginner she completed her piece in about 8 hours!
We named her to be our Mosaic's Ambassador in Malesia!
